Blue Dolphin Sailing is a family owned and operated business. Your happiness is our priority and we are there to make sure your trip is a great one.

We have 2 Sailing Catamarans that were especially built for safety, comfort and performance.

Blue Dolphin is a custom built 40 foot catamaran specifically designed to be the ultimate in day charters. She has plenty of space and is packed with amenities.

Blue Dolphin Too, our newest addition, it is a 42 foot catamaran that can not only take day charters, but has been specifically outfitted for groups wanting to spend a little more time out to sea. Check out our extended trips details if you want to disappear for up to a week or more…..

Captain Jeff Herrman is a US Coast Guard Registered 50 ton Captain who has been sailing for over 20 years. He first sailed off the coast of Costa Rica in 1994 and has sailed over 25,000 miles in Pacific and Caribbean waters.

Captain Carlos “Charlie” Duran has over 30 years of experience sailing, fishing and surfing the waters of Costa Rica. His permanent smile is the perfect snapshot to describe his overall outlook on life.

Captain Bryan “BC” Carson is a US Coast Guard registered 50 ton Captain with a US Open Water Dive Master certification. He has sailed all over the Pacific Ocean, and is always happy to share his love and knowledge of the ocean with all the passengers on board.
